(Journal 11/14/12) Who doesn't love Disney?

This article starts out by saying, "Though briefly dormant while its Lucasfilm upgrade was installed, the Disney supercomputer responsible for crunching imagination algorithms has discovered another theme park rid that hasn't been retrofitted with a narrative expansion yet, processing its output of "Big Thunder Mountain."" After looking at all the franchising variables, it was said to be determined that the roller coaster involving a loose narrative about trains, gold, mining and a town haunted by angry Native American spirits would function most efficiently as a ABC TV show. The last time Disney attempted to combine the American West with trains and supernatural Native American stuff it costed way too much money.

I personally enjoy The Big Thunder Mountain ride every time I go to Disney, and still will enjoy it. I think that this ride will always be one of the best rides in Disney world.

  1. Although I have never been to Disney and am not a fan or roller-coasters, I find things like this to be interesting. It fascinates me the creativeness that is need to come up with things like this as well as the funding. It simply blows my mind the amount of money that they can invest in something like this. Yet it is so worth it for the publicity and popularity.
